htaccess for Mod ReWrite vs ISAPI ReWrite

It has been brought to my attention that Mod ReWrite has different rules that ISAPI ReWrite. Thus, the .htaccess file that I have provided with bluApple does not work for apache servers.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be providing an .htaccess file over the next couple days. I do not have an apache server anymore so I will have to get one up for testing. So look for a new .htaccess file for apache soon.

In addition, if anyone one wants to contribute to the project email me at somethingJava@gmail.com. I will be setting up an SVN very soon so that the community can collaborate on making bluApple the best CMS that it can be.

Thanks, Marco

Marco Williams of somethingJava.com's Gravatar Ok so i checked the Mod ReWrite for apache at http://httpd.apache.org/docs/1.3/mod/mod_rewrite.h... and I could not find any difference in ReWrite commands. It looks like the .htaccess file that I created should work just fine.

If anyone has an apache server and has tested this out please post your findings.
